October 3rd while running errands with my mom and brother, I stopped by Catherine’s clothing store. So, I could gain specific knowledge about their marketing activities. This store is considered to be a shopping specialty for plus size women. The reason why I chose this particular retail store was due to the high volume of shoppers throughout the plaza.

Catherine’s is the go to spot for my mom and her younger sisters, making their target market for older women who wear sizes 3x and up. Catherine’s gives plus size women a wide selection of clothing in a size cautious society. While talking to the manager, I asked what separates them from competition. She answered, “What separates us from us from competition like lane Bryant, we have a higher quality of clothing and we are not size limited like lane Bryant.
