Introduction

The juvenile court system became an institution long before the 21st century among a sequence of increasing needed improvements with the perception children had contrasting requirements as adults. These newer courts were situated on a standard for rehabilitation as treatment instead of retribution.  Since courts were considered to be assisting these juveniles rather than to be relinquished to criminal retribution, the judges distributed bearing in mind their Constitutional rights during these proceedings distinctive to adult criminal cases (Fiselier&Vegter, 2006).
