Question details

5 page research paper
$ 75.00

I have a 5 page research paper that needs to be done in 4 days. It requires a minimum of 4 APA references but no direct quotes can be used. I have completed the pre-assignment section and i will send it here for reference. The assignment direction and guidelines are also attached. Please let me know if it can be done in a timely manner.

Below are some of the requirements:

Future of Business in Michigan

For this paper, you will select a Michigan city (or neighborhood within a large city) that you believe has potential for future business growth.

You will then investigate the business environment in the city and prepare a report that highlights opportunities and incentives for future business in that city.

Be sure to use sources appropriately. Here are some guidelines and suggestions:

  • Use the Turnitin Self-Check link under "Assignment Submission --> Final Paper Submissions" to be sure you are not plagiarizing.
  • Paraphrase ideas where possible. All ideas taken from outside sources need to have in-text citations and a reference on the reference page.
  • Direct quotes must be in quotation marks.
  • Do not use more than 5% direct quotes in the entire paper, excluding tables.
  • The purpose of your paper is to present your own interpretation, analysis, and commentary on observations you make and on ideas and quotes you obtain from outside sources. Be sure your analysis is clearly identified and presented.
  • If you choose to interview others for your paper, use the consent form at the link above.
  1. The Federal Reserve Brief identifies several factors that influence business location decisions. Choose one of these factors and briefly summarize it here. Include an in-text citation identifying the Federal Reserve Brief and add a reference at the end in APA format. It does not need to be on a separate page, but it should be in the format you will use at the end of your Final Paper.

As explained by the Federal Reserve Brief, there are multiple factors that can play a major role in identifying a city suitable for investment and further growth. However, not all factors mention has the same important. In fact, the amount of available sites dictates the extent of possible future growth. “By far, the measure most highly correlated with employment growth is available development sites, with a zero-order correlation coefficient of +0.59” (Bluestone, 2014).  The rational behind this data could be explained by the fact that businesses must be able to find a suitable location with the right size at an affordable price. These factor, however, are relative. For example, some firms may overlook the high price to obtain the location, if the region is considered prime and has very high consumer traffic. On the other hand, if a city has limited sites to offer to new investors, the said individuals will be unable to establish a business, and therefore will look elsewhere for more suitable location. The final draft of the report will further analyze the data of city of Corcktown, and will attempt to investigate the possibility of growth in this region based on the location availability.

  1. Which Michigan City will you report on?
    1. This paper will attempt to report on the growth and development possibilities of Corcktown in Detroit, MI.
  2. List one secondary source you will use in your paper that is specific to your city.
    1. As a secondary source for this report, I will be using the online database offered by Detroit Public library at http://www.detroitpubliclibrary.org/
